Throughout the years, Christmas for me has been special, in a sense magical, Loving, most of all Holy!  The entire year of the calendar including my birthday etc. would be business as usual.  The graph of my emotions would indicate a consistent pattern.

Christmas was a moment of time all of it’s own.  A parade of family, church, silence, reading, music, crisp snow, lit nights and days spent away from school. Church plays and school concerts are ever etched on my thoughts.

The television added to the enjoyment and entertainment.  The sitcoms with their Christmas nights and musical variety shows contained songs and memories still enjoyed by many to this day!

The Christmas meaning of the birth of Christ brought great joy that is known all year long, yet through this season, celebrated around the world is an overflowing Spirit of,  receiving from God and giving to others.

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, To redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”  Galatians 4:4,5.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.
